The Episcopal Diocese of Montana is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to serve as Volunteer Camp Marshall Ambassadors. As a Camp Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in connecting your church community to all the exciting activities and programs offered at Camp Marshall, an Episcopal Church Camp.
As a Camp Ambassador, you will be responsible for reading and disseminating Camp Marshall’s email newsletter and other updates from the Executive Director or Summer Program Director. You will also promote Camp Marshall’s programs and events to your church community, encouraging participation in our Christian summer camp program, and communicating the availability of camperships and financial assistance to families in need in your community.
Not only will you be serving as an important liaison between Camp Marshall and your community, but you will also have the opportunity to receive training as a lay leader in this vital ministry and be among the first to learn about exciting developments at Camp Marshall. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to connect people you love to a camp you love, where they can grow in faith and community. As a token of appreciation, you will receive a free Camp Marshall t-shirt to proudly wear and show your support.
To apply to be a Volunteer Camp Marshall Ambassador to serve your congregation, you will need approval from your priest or vestry (in the absence of a priest) from your Episcopal Congregation in the Diocese of Montana. Also you will need to complete a volunteer application for Camp Marshall, Criminal Background/Sex Offender Registry Check, and Safeguarding God’s People online classes required for persons who work with children or families.
