Gene cooking at a diocesan "Happening"

Gene Clark

Gene Clark, (9/22/1944 – 11/24/2017) reveled in his work with youth in the Episcopal Diocese of Montana.  He is the beloved husband of Jeannie and devoted father of Jenn Chaloupka, Krista Clark, Craig Clark and Rob Wilbur.  Moving to Montana in 1982, Gene began his youth ministry at St. Andrew’s, Livingston and St. James’, Bozeman.  In 1988, he became youth director at St. Luke’s, Billings. He will be remembered for his cooking, his snoring, and as the man who drove the renovated school bus to and from various sessions at Camp Marshall, providing transportation for youth who otherwise would be unable to attend camp.  Gene’s family has asked that donations made in his memory support Camp Marshall’s campership fund, or be made to Camp Marshall’s Grace Camp program, a free summer camp for children with an incarcerated parent.  Gifts in Gene’s memory may be made online, or mailed to Camp Marshall at PO Box 2020 Helena, MT 59624.
