KEEPING THE FEAST

Finding our place in God's creation

(Brief summary of the keeping the feast project)

Eucharist is an invitation to share in food as Jesus has called us to.  Eucharist means "thanksgiving."

Sharing meals is a part of our daily lives, and can be a foundational expression of our faith.

How we are finding our place in God's creation

Preparing

We are getting our campers involved in preparing healthy food for each other. Weather that be by baking communion bread for the camp or making individual pizzas for their peers, or simply learning where our ingredients came from.

Sharing

Every snack and meal and moment at Camp Marshall is shared. Sharing with our neighbors helps us to live in reconciled relationships with God

Giving thanks

We encourage campers to honor God's creation by learning about the Flathead ecosystem, composting our food waste, and wasting as little food as possible.
